Have you ever wanted to play a role that you would never be cast in? Well, here is your chance! At TAS+SD's MISCAST CABARET, performers will wow our audience with their own renditions of musical theatre songs in a fun cabaret setting in the very popular Arts District@Liberty Station!
AUDITION
Monday, October 2nd from 7:00-9:00 pm *(If you cannot make this date, we will arrange an alternate date for you. You can request an alternate date in the audition form.)
REHEARSAL
Each performer will be scheduled two rehearsals based on their availability prior to the cabaret performance.

FOR THE AUDITION, PLEASE PREPARE
1. A short musical theatre song (ONE MINUTE CUT) that you would like to sing for the MISCAST CABARET. This piece should be a song that plays against type (example: if you are a girl, you could sing "Gaston" from BEAUTY AND THE BEAST). Please bring your music on a TRACK - DOWNLOADED onto a phone/mp3 player. DO NOT play your track off of YouTube, etc… You can find piano arrangements of songs at:

2. If you have a headshot and resume, please bring them to your audition.
HOW TO SIGN UP FOR THIS PRODUCTION:
1. FILL OUT AUDITION FORM BELOW.
2. READ OUR REGISTRATION PAGE REGARDING REFUNDS.
3. CLICK ON THE "REGISTER" BUTTON BELOW, AND YOU WILL BE DIRECTED TO PAYPAL TO PAY THE PRODUCTION FEE OF $75. (THIS FEE INCLUDES ALL INSTRUCTION, REHEARSAL, AND PRODUCTION EXPENSES.)
4. READ AUDITION INFO AND PREPARE FOR THE AUDITION
(ALL ACTORS WILL BE CAST IN THIS PRODUCTION. HOWEVER, SPACE IS LIMITED, SO YOU MUST REGISTER EARLY TO ENSURE YOU HAVE A SPOT IN THIS PRODUCTION. IF THE DIRECTOR FEELS YOUR AUDITION PIECE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE CABARET, SHE WILL GIVE YOU NEW MATERIAL THAT WILL SUIT BOTH THE PERFORMER AND THE PRODUCTION.)
